❓ FAQ

How short is the top?

It ends above the navel. A wide strip of midriff stays bare between the top and the skirt waistband; the black fabric itself is opaque.

Does the tie need knotting?

It comes pre-tied. An elastic band takes it over the head; it cannot be shortened.

How short is the skirt?

It ends well above the knee. The wide waistband sits on the hip rather than at the waist; that is intended with this cut. The skirt is cut straight and close-fitting.

Which size fits?

Go by your bust and hip measurements. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one; the costume should sit close, not cut in.

How is it washed?

By hand at thirty degrees, with a delicate detergent and no fabric softener. In the machine only inside a laundry bag on a gentle cycle; a tumble dryer ruins the elastic.

What if a thread pulls?

Do not cut it off; draw it inside with a blunt needle. A cut thread keeps running, a pulled-through one holds.

How is it stored?

Lying flat, not on a hanger. The elastic gives way under its own weight if a piece hangs for months.

How discreetly does it arrive?

In a plain box with no hint of the contents. The sender line says nothing that would tell the neighbours anything.
