Wrist or ankle?

Both. The six holes of the buckle let you set the width so that the cuffs sit on wrists just as well as on slim ankles.

What are the three D-rings for?

The chain can be clipped to one of the rings or removed completely, leaving you with two separate cuffs. To the free rings you can attach a rope, more chains or other restraints, for example to fix the hands to the bed.

How does play stay safe?

Close the cuffs only so tight that one finger still fits underneath, and check circulation and feeling in the hands or feet regularly: tingling, numbness, cold or discoloured skin mean open them at once. The tied person is never left alone and never stays long in the same position. Agree on a stop signal beforehand and keep safety scissors within reach. Restraints never go round the neck.

What is bonded leather?

A material made of leather fibres pressed into a firm sheet with a binding agent. It looks like leather but is not solid grown hide.

How do you care for them?

Wipe with a damp cloth and let them air-dry, no washing machine and no radiator. Store them dry, flat or loosely rolled, with the chain beside rather than on top.
