The Inspire Silicone Set by CalExotics consists of five slim, gently curved silicone pieces in ascending size, from pale blush to pink. Each piece has a ring at the end that makes it easy to hold and to pull out again. The pieces taper towards a rounded tip, and the surface is smooth and matt. The rings are moulded in one piece with them and large enough for a finger to fit through. Begin with the slimmest piece. Lying relaxed helps more than pressure, and if you leave a piece still for a few minutes after inserting it, you notice the feeling of tension ease by itself. How quickly do you go from one size to the next?

In weeks, not in one evening. The next step is due when the previous one is comfortable without effort and goes in without thinking about it, not when it just barely goes in. After a longer break, start again one size smaller.

Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one, and plenty of it; top it up in between rather than pushing harder. Silicone oil attacks silicone and so stays away. The selection is under water-based lubricant, thicker ones under anal and fisting lubricant.

Do you have to use every size?

No. Many people stay with the middle one and never use the largest. The set is a choice, not a to-do list.

How is it cleaned?

Each piece separately with lukewarm water and a sex toy cleaner, including the inside of the ring, then left to air-dry and stored dry. Silicone is non-porous and gets completely clean this way.

Can the set be used anally?

No. A ring at the end is not a wide base: the rectum has no natural limit, and the sphincter pulls inward whatever it can grip. For the bottom there are anal plugs with a wide base.
