Which door is suitable?

A sturdy interior door with a solid frame that can be closed and locked. Glass doors, sliding doors and doors with wobbly hinges are unsuitable. With the door locked, nobody can open it from the other side while someone is sitting in the swing.

How much weight does it carry?

How much it carries ultimately also depends on the door, frame and hinges. So check the hold before every use: first pull firmly on both straps while standing, then shift your weight in slowly, bit by bit. Wild swinging or dropping into it is off limits.

How do you sit in it?

The thighs go into the padded supports, the arms through the upper loops. You also hold on to the straps. Set the height with the buckles so that the feet can quickly find the floor again if needed.
