What do 20 % elastane do?

More stretch than the other pieces in the range, which sit at 8 to 12 %. The dress moves with you instead of pulling, and returns to shape afterwards.

Why only XL?

Because the shop carries this version in that size alone. The knit stretches a long way, so XL covers more here than the label suggests.

Can it be worn over lingerie?

Yes. Lace over a plain body takes the sheerness out of the dress without changing its line.

How is it washed?

By hand, cold, without softener and dried flat. Lace and fine knit take neither a drum nor a dryer - a spin cycle pulls the mesh out of shape.

How does the size fit?

How is it stored?

Lying flat and with no weight on top. Lace catches on zips and hooks; keep it apart from jeans and underwired bras.

Does the colour hold?

With hand washing, yes. White yellows if washed too warm and dark shades bleed in the machine. Washed cold and separately, both stay as they were.

How discreetly does it arrive?
