From two AAA batteries, which are not included. They go into the egg, which opens at the silver line. Batteries are available in the drugstore section.

How far may it go in?

Only so far that the loop stays outside and you can grip it at any time, and only vaginally. It is not used anally, as the loop is not a base and does not stop it from slipping in.

Which lubricant suits it?

A water-based one, applied generously. Silicone oil attacks the silicone surface and makes it dull over time.
