Which batteries does it need?

Two AAA batteries, which are not included. They go into the egg itself, which opens at the silver seam for this. Suitable ones are in the drugstore section.

How deep is it inserted?

Vaginally only, and only so deep that the retrieval loop stays outside and is easy to grip. The egg is off limits for the bottom: the loop is not a base and does not hold it back there.

How do you take it out again?

Pull slowly and straight on the loop, not with a jerk. A little gel at the entrance makes it easier.
