The female condom from EXS is a latex-free, vegan condom that is worn internally. It is made of AT-10, a synthetic resin without latex, and comes ready lubricated, unscented and with a smooth surface. Unlike classic female condoms with an outer ring, it is held by two soft leg loops: the flat part lies in front of the vulva and the loops go around the thighs. Because it does not depend on an erection, the person wearing it can make sure a condom is there. Each condom comes individually sealed in a wrapper with a colour gradient from turquoise to pink, and the back shows how to use it in four steps. It is available in packs of 4 or 25. How do you put it in place?

Place the flat part in front of the vulva and pull the leg loops over the thighs until they sit in the crease of the groin. If they slide up towards the waist, they are in the wrong place. Then push the inner part into the vagina with one finger, before the first contact and not halfway through.

Can it be used together with an ordinary condom?

No. A female condom and an ordinary condom rub against each other and tear more easily as a result. You use either one or the other.

Which lubricant fits?

If the existing lubrication is not enough for you, add a water- or silicone-based lubricant. The selection is under water-based lubricant.

How does it come out again?

Twist the outer part closed so nothing spills, and pull the condom out gently. Then it goes in the household waste, not down the toilet, because every condom is used only once. You will find more under condoms.

How do you store the condoms?

Dry, cool and out of direct sunlight, so not permanently in a wallet or the car. The expiry date is printed on every single wrapper.
