How do you guide it?

With the curve towards the belly. Instead of thrusting you work with short movements or hold it on the spot and let the vibration do its work. More on that in the vibrator guide.

Is the slim shaft good for a start?

Yes. A G-spot vibrator is not meant to fill but to reach one spot, and with this narrow shaft nothing has to be stretched. More girth would make the angle harder rather than the sensation stronger. If fullness is what you are after, classic vibrators are the better place to look.

Can it be used anally?

No. The base is barely wider than the shaft and so forms no stop to prevent it from slipping all the way in. A flared base is the condition for anal use.

How is it charged and cleaned?

It goes on a USB cable to charge, and only when it is dry. To clean it, wash it with lukewarm water and toy cleaner and let it dry completely. Silicone is non-porous, nothing stays behind in the surface. Only water-based lubricant is suitable, because silicone gel leaves the surface dull and tacky, see water-based lubricant.
