The S008 garter tights from the Passion Woman Eco Collection have a plain waistband that sits at the waist. Below it lies a hip section of fine mesh with large, rounded cut-outs. At the sides, wide, dense bands lead to the stockings and create a suspender look; between them crotch and bottom stay bare. At the front a ladder of large oval holes runs down each leg from the stocking top to the foot. At the back a fine row of holes runs like a seam along the whole length of the leg. Do you have to fasten suspenders?

No. Hip section, bands and stockings are knitted in one piece, so there is nothing to fasten and you need no suspender belt.

How do you put them on?

Ideally sitting down. Gather one leg down to the toe, slip in and ease the mesh up bit by bit, then follow with the second leg. Take off rings beforehand so no stitch gets caught. Finally pull the waistband up to the waist and straighten the bands at the sides.

Which size fits?

The garter tights come in one size. Polyamide with elastane stretches well; the safest way is to compare the width at the waistband with a pair of well-fitting tights.

What do you wear underneath or over them?

A thong or briefs can go underneath, and a short skirt, a dress or a body on top.

How do you care for them?

It is gentlest to wash them by hand in cool water and only press them out softly without wringing. Let them dry flat in the air.
