What sets the two ends apart?

One runs into a large ball, the other via two smaller ones into an end ball. Broad against graded, in one piece.

Is glass not cold?

At first yes. Anyone who holds the piece in warm water briefly or warms it in their hand notices nothing of it.

May it be warmed or cooled?

Yes, but only slowly - in lukewarm or cool water, never in a pot on the stove and never in the freezer. A sudden temperature change is the one thing that makes borosilicate genuinely dangerous.

How do you tell it is still intact?

Glass is non-porous and absorbs nothing. Run a hand over the surface before every use: a crack or a chip is the one reason to retire a glass item.

Why does it have no broad foot?

Because both ends are used: the grip is always the end that stays outside at the time. Anally, a piece without a flared base is a no - plugs for that stand under anal plugs.

Which lubricant fits?

With glass both work, water-based and silicone-based. It does not take much - glass glides by itself. The choice stands under lubricant.

How is it cleaned?
