A lubricant with no flavour and no frills: Aqua Comfort by Swede is colourless, has a pH of 4.5 and does without parabens, glycerine and propylene glycol. How do you apply the gel?

Right where it should glide. Put a few drops on your fingertips, on the toy or on the rolled-on condom and spread them. Better to take a little twice than too much once, otherwise it gets slippery where you do not need it.

What if it wears off?

Top up or add moisture. A water-based gel soaks in or dries over time. A splash of water is often enough to make it smooth again instead of reaching for fresh gel straight away.

Does it leave stains?

No, it leaves no grease marks. It washes out of bed linen and towels with water. Rinse skin with warm water, and clean toys afterwards with mild soap or a toy cleaner.

How should you store the bottle?

Tightly closed, cool and dry. Heat and direct sun are not good for the gel, the bedside drawer is a good place. How many months it keeps after opening is shown by the open jar symbol on the back of the bottle.

What if your skin reacts?

Then wash it off at once and stop using it. Ideally test a new gel on a small patch of skin first, for example the inside of your elbow, and wait a few hours. If the skin stays calm you can use it without worry; if it turns red or burns, leave it out.
