This water-based lubricant by Aqua Quality comes here in a 200 ml tube. The tube stands on its wide cap, so the gel gathers at the opening by itself and even the last bit still comes out. Through the clear wall you can see in good time when a refill is due. The gel contains no fragrance and no colouring. It goes straight onto the skin with a gentle massage. Two hundred millilitres is a size for the bedside table: enough for many evenings, while the tube is still easy to squeeze one-handed during sex. The gel is made in Europe. What do the ingredients do?

Water is the base, hydroxyethylcellulose thickens it into a gel, and glycerin holds moisture. Phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin keep the gel stable once the tube is open.

How long does the tube keep after opening?

Twelve months. The easiest way is to write the date you first opened it on the tube with a waterproof pen, so you do not have to guess later.

Does it suit condoms and toys?

Yes. It is suitable for condoms, and as a water-based lubricant it gets on with latex condoms and every toy material, silicone included. Suitable condoms are under condoms.

What should you watch out for when using it?

Do not apply it to irritated or broken skin. It is not meant to be swallowed, and the tube should be kept out of the reach of children.

How do you wash it off?

With water. A water-based gel dissolves in it, so a damp cloth is enough on the skin. Bedding is washed as usual.
