The Comfort Gel Super Lube by Beppy is a water-based lubricant, long-lasting and neutral, without fragrance and without flavour. It comes in a slim white bottle with a clear cap, printed with colourful overlapping circles and the turquoise Beppy logo. It washes off with clear water without leaving stains. If you react sensitively, try a new gel on the inside of your elbow first; if the skin reddens or burns, wash it off and use a different one. For anal use: take more than you think, and top up in between. Lubricant is not only for emergencies, either. Even if you get wet on your own, a little gel makes it better, because the friction stays even, especially when things take longer. Is it condom-safe?

Yes. Water-based gels do not attack latex, unlike oil and petroleum jelly, which make a condom useless within minutes. Condoms are under condoms.

Yes. Only silicone oil attacks silicone, water does not. That makes a water-based gel the one kind that suits genuinely every material.

What do you do when it soaks in?

A splash of water brings most water-based gels back; that is the usual trick and cheaper than topping up. For long sessions the bottle within reach is still worth it.

How do you apply it?

To begin with, an amount about the size of a hazelnut is enough, spread with your fingers on the toy, condom or skin. On a condom the gel goes on the outside and not inside, otherwise it slips off.

How do you store it?

Tightly closed, at room temperature and not in full sun or a hot car. If you wipe the opening briefly after use, nothing dries on there and the closure shuts cleanly next time.
