The Lubricant Chic Desire Strawberry Kissable by Coquette is a water-based lubricant with strawberry flavour in a single sachet. The black sachet is printed with pink strawberries and carries the word “Kissable”. Being water-based, it washes off with clear water. On sensitive skin fragrance and flavouring can sting; if you react sensitively, try it on a small patch of skin first, such as the inside of the elbow, and keep the sachet closed on irritated or broken skin. Is it condom-safe?

Yes. Water-based gels do not attack latex, unlike oil and petroleum jelly, which make a condom useless within minutes. Condoms are under condoms.

Does it suit silicone toys?

Yes. Only silicone oil attacks silicone, water does not. That makes a water-based gel the one kind that suits genuinely every material.

What do you do when it soaks in?

Water-based gels soak in faster than an oil. A splash of water makes it glide again; that is the usual trick and more economical than topping up. For long sessions a larger bottle within reach is worth it.

Can it be swallowed?

No. Kissable means the taste is pleasant when lips come into play; it is still not meant to be swallowed.

What is in it?

Water, perfume, hydroxyethylcellulose as a gelling agent, glycerin, the sweetener sodium saccharin, EDTA, lactic acid and sodium methylparaben as a preservative. If you cannot tolerate any of these ingredients, leave the gel out.

How is it applied?

With a gentle massage onto the skin. Tear the sachet open just before use and squeeze the gel straight into your hand, so none of it ends up elsewhere.

How is it stored?

Unopened at room temperature, out of direct sunlight and out of reach of children. An opened sachet cannot be closed again, so it is used up straight away.
