The 2in1 from Hot is massage gel and lubricant in one, water-based and with strawberry flavour. Its ingredients are water, glycerine, propylene glycol, flavouring, carrageenan from red algae, sodium benzoate, lactic acid and glucose. It contains no fragrances other than the flavouring. The gel is made in Germany and filled into a large PE-LD tube in rosé and red that stands on its flip-top cap. Can you really massage with it?

Yes, all over the body and as a lubricant during sex. Unlike an oil, a water-based gel soaks in over time; for a long back massage you would therefore rather reach for an oil from the massage products. The advantage here: what is on the skin can carry straight on as lubricant.

How do you apply it?

For a massage you put a little gel in your palm, warm it briefly between your hands and spread it over the skin with slow strokes. As a lubricant it goes directly on the intimate area or on the fingers.

What do you do when it gets dry?

A few drops of water on the skin make the gel slippery again. If that is no longer enough, you simply add a little more.

What is behind the strawberry taste?

Flavouring and glucose, which is a type of sugar. If you would rather do without such additives in the intimate area, choose a lubricant without flavouring. Which types exist and what they suit is explained in the Lube Guide.

How should the tube be stored?

Closed, dry and out of direct sunlight, between 5 and 30 °C. Once opened, the gel keeps for six months, and the use-by date is stamped into the crimp at the end of the tube.

How does it come off again?

With warm water. It washes out of bedding and towels in a normal wash.
