The Gel Nature lubricant by Confortex is a transparent water-based lubricant in a single dose of 6 ml. It is not greasy and leaves no stains. It feels soft and silky and washes off with clear water. The square sachet is green with a light wave pattern. If you react sensitively, try a new gel on the inside of your elbow first. Is it condom-safe?

Yes. Water-based gels do not attack latex, unlike oil and petroleum jelly, which make a condom useless within minutes. You will find them under condoms.

Does it suit silicone toys?

Yes. Only silicone oil attacks silicone, water does not. That makes a water-based gel the one kind that suits genuinely every material.

What do you do when it soaks in?

Water-based gels soak in faster than oil. A splash of water brings most of them back, which is the usual trick; otherwise top up. Anally, use more than you think from the start and keep a second single dose ready, as you would for long sessions.

What is in it?

Water, glycerin, propylene glycol, hydroxyethylcellulose, sodium benzoate, polysorbate 20 and disodium EDTA. It contains no fragrance or warming agents. More gels are under water-based lubricant, the rest of the range under lubricant.

How do you open and apply a single dose?

Tear the sachet open at the notch, not with your teeth. The gel goes where it is needed: on the skin, on the toy or on the outside of the condom, never inside, otherwise the condom can slip off. An opened dose cannot be closed again, so use it up straight away.
