The Sensilight Original Formula lubricant by Intimateline comes here in the smallest size of the range. The short, rounded bottle is clear, has a greyish white cap and is lettered in black and pink; a pink band runs round the base, and a round seal with a water drop stands for the water base. Inside is a clear gel. The small bottle fits in a toiletry bag or travel luggage and is a way to get to know the original formula before you reach for a larger one. Because the gel is water based, it is compatible with latex condoms and with toys made of any material. It stands under water-based lubricant, in the drugstore section, with the sex toys for couples and with the sextoys for women.

How does the original formula differ from the other Sensilight varieties?

It is the basic variety of the range. Alongside it there are the Aquagel, Fresh Sensation with a cooling effect, Hot Sensation with a warming effect and several fruit-flavoured varieties, to be found under flavoured lubricant.

How much gel do you need?

Not much. A small portion on your fingers or on the toy is enough to start, and you can add more at any time.

Does it get tacky over time?

During longer use the water in it evaporates and it becomes thicker. A few drops of water make it slippery again.

How do you wash it off?

With warm water. It comes out of sheets and towels in the wash without grease stains.

How do you keep the bottle when travelling?

Well closed and out of blazing sun, so do not leave it in a hot car. Once opened, the shelf-life date on the bottle applies.
