With or without fingers?

With. Each finger is worked separately and closed at the tip, so the whole hand sits in the net. A touchscreen does not respond through the net; to type, you slip one glove off for a moment.

Does one size fit?

The knit is elastic and settles around hand and arm. It should sit close, not strain. The limit is the upper arm: if the edge cuts in there, the arm is too strong for this length.

How do you put them on without damaging them?

Rings off, nails checked, gather the glove up to the fingers and slide the hand in rather than pulling at the net. Then smooth the knit up over forearm and elbow bit by bit. A single broken stitch can open up further in the net.

Do they slide down?

On slim arms the top edge travels down a little over time. Over a close-fitting long-sleeved top, or with the edge turned over once, they stay in place better.

How are they washed?

Most gently by hand in cool water with a little mild detergent. Then press them out gently, do not wring, and let them dry flat; leave out the tumble dryer.

What do you wear opera-length fishnet gloves with?
