How do you close the cuffs?

At the end of each bow sits a toothed tip that you push into the lock housing when closing until the bow holds. They open with one of the keys via the keyhole on the housing.

What does the three-link chain offer?

The hands stay joined but keep some room between them, for example to support themselves or change position.

In front or behind the back?

In front of the body to begin with: shoulders and arms stay relaxed, and you can both see the hands. Behind the back the position becomes tiring sooner, so keep that variant short.

What applies for safety?

Handcuffs go only on the wrists, never around the neck. Close them so that a finger fits between fur and skin, and check the hands now and then: at cold, numbness, tingling or pale skin, unlock at once. One key lies within reach, the second in a fixed place. Agree beforehand on a stop sign without words, never leave anyone cuffed alone and never hang body weight from the chain.

How do you care for the faux fur?

Dab marks off with a damp cloth and let the fur dry in the air. A soft brush brings the fibres back into shape. Wipe the metal dry, and keep the handcuffs dry and together with the keys.
