How do you put the harness on?

Pull it over the shoulders like a waistcoat and place the ring in the middle of the breastbone. Then adjust the straps until all four are evenly tensioned and the ring no longer drifts to the side. The other way round, adjusting first and slipping in afterwards, the straps twist easily.

What should you watch for while wearing it?

No strap may cut in: there must be room for at least one finger under each one. No strap is ever pulled across the neck or throat. If a spot goes numb, tingles or the skin changes colour, loosen it at once. The ring is at most for guiding, never for pulling or hanging, because the harness does not carry body weight.

Which size fits?

It is meant for sizes S to XL; it is adjusted with the straps. If your size is at the edge of that range, try it on calmly before the first evening.

Do you wear it on the skin or over clothing?

Both work. On bare skin the cross lies directly on the body and accentuates the chest; over a close-fitting shirt it rubs less during longer wear. On the skin, pay particular attention to the spots under the armpits, where the side straps lie.

How do you care for the harness?

After wearing, wipe the straps with a damp cloth and let them dry in the air, neither on a radiator nor in strong sunlight. It does not go in the washing machine. Rub the ring and the press studs dry so nothing tarnishes, and before every use check that all studs still close firmly.
