How do you adjust the fit?

With the shoulder buckles you raise or lower the chest piece until it lies on the chest and does not slide towards the neck. The side buckles tighten the harness around the ribcage; leather keepers hold the strap ends.

How much does leather give while wearing it?

Hardly at all. Unlike an elastic harness, leather does not stretch with you when you move or breathe in deeply. So try it on calmly and move around in it for a few minutes before wearing it for longer.

What do you need to watch out for?

Breathing must never be restricted. The ribcage must be able to expand freely, and two fingers fit under every strap. Nothing may press under the armpits; if the arms tingle, loosen the sides, and if you feel short of breath or dizzy, the harness comes off at once. Can I wear it over a shirt?
