How do you put it on?

Open the buckles, slip your arms through and place the cross band just below the collarbones. Then tighten the shoulder and side straps until the round plate sits centrally between the shoulder blades. As the buckles are at the back, it is easier with a second person.

How tight may it sit?

The straps lie flat but never cut in: one finger still fits under every strap. If you feel tingling, or the skin turns numb, cold or pale, loosen it at once. The front ring may be tugged but never yanked; the harness does not carry body weight.
