This Humbler from the Steel range is a curved stainless steel bar with a clamp in the middle that holds the scrotum behind the thighs. The clamp is locked and cannot be opened without the key. Above it sits a press plate on two rods with black knobs; it has one smooth side and one with spikes. You can remove the attachment with the stretching ring and plate and wear the bar as a simple humbler. At both ends there are eyelets to which restraints can be attached. How does a humbler work?

The bar lies across the back of your thighs and the scrotum sits in the clamp. As long as you kneel or stay bent forward, everything sits loosely; if you stretch your legs or try to stand up, the bar pulls on the scrotum. That is why you only move slowly with it, do not stand up and do not straighten your legs.

What applies when putting it on?

Place the scrotum in the clamp and check that no skin is caught between the halves before you close it and hook in the lock. Apply the press plate only slowly and with little pressure, ideally with the smooth side first; the spikes must not pierce the skin.

How long may it stay on?

Only briefly. Open it at once if numbness, coldness, discolouration or pain appears. Never leave the person wearing it alone, keep the key within reach and agree on a stop signal beforehand that applies immediately at any time.

Is it something for beginners?

No. It restrains strongly, and anyone just trying out ball toys is better off starting with a simple ring. If hands or feet are also tied to the eyelets, that restricts movement even further.

How do you clean it?
