What sets it apart from the other articles by this brand?

The hose. All the other “intimate douches” in this series are attachments screwed onto an existing shower hose - here it is included.

How is it connected?

The shower head is unscrewed and the hose fitted to the tap. The thread is the standard one; special fittings need an adapter from a hardware shop.

How is it used?

Check the water temperature on your hand first, keep the pressure low, douche briefly. Lukewarm is right - hot water is noticed too late inside.

How often should you douche?

As rarely as possible and as briefly as necessary. Douching too often disturbs the gut flora more than it helps the preparation.

What goes in?

Clear, lukewarm water only. No soap, no shower gel, no additives - the mucous membrane reacts far more sensitively than skin.

How is it cleaned?

Attachment and thread with hot water and a toy cleaner from sex toy cleaner, and rinse the hose through. Then let it dry completely.

How is it stored?

Dry and hanging. A metal hose lying squashed in a drawer kinks - and a kink stays.

Do you need lubricant with it?

Yes, as with any anal insertion. A water-based one from water-based lubricant is enough; steel tolerates any of them anyway.

How deep is the attachment inserted?

Only as far as it goes without pressure. A few centimetres are enough for the preparation - what lies further up is not reached by a douche anyway.

How long beforehand should you douche?

Half an hour to an hour beforehand, not immediately before. The body needs time until the water is completely out again.
