Is the fabric opaque?

Not entirely. The fabric is slightly sheer; in bright light you can make out what is underneath. It is not fully see-through, though, and the black takes much of the edge off the effect.

How is the back made?

There is no fabric at the back. Two black elastic straps start at the waistband on the hips at the front, run under the buttocks and end at the waistband again at the back. They hold the pouch in place and leave the seat free.

How does the waistband sit?

The waistband is a wide elastic band with the lettering repeated all the way round, front and back. It should sit firmly without cutting in. If it leaves a deep mark after you take it off, the size is too small.

Which size fits you?

There are no centimetre measurements for S, M, L and XL on this model, so compare it with underwear that fits you well. If you wear briefs and boxers in XL, this is your size. If XL is already tight on you in other underwear, this jockstrap will probably be too snug.

Can you wear it every day?

That works well. Under jeans or trousers the straps do not show, and because the fabric gives, the pouch does not press even when you sit. Black also shows through light clothing less than a bold colour.

How do you wash it best?

The gentlest way is by hand in cool water or in a laundry bag at a low temperature. A mild detergent for delicates is enough; afterwards let it dry in the air.
