❓ FAQ

How is a cover used?

It is pulled over the ultrasound probe and keeps it covered during use. Read the enclosed instructions before the first use; they describe how to handle the covers.

Do they work as a condom?

These covers promise no protection during sex; anyone who wants protection uses a condom, the selection is under condoms.

How do you open the foil?

Tear it carefully at the edge, not with teeth, scissors or fingernails, so that the latex is not damaged. Only open as many foils as you need at the time; the remaining covers stay sealed until use.

Which lubricant is compatible with them?

Latex does not tolerate oil: oil, petroleum jelly and greasy creams attack it and make it brittle. If a lubricant is needed, use a water-based one, found under water-based lubricant.

What about a latex allergy?

Latex can trigger allergic reactions, including severe ones. With a latex allergy these covers are not suitable.

How do you store the large box?

Cool, dry and out of direct sun, for example in a cupboard, because heat wears the latex. In the large box the foils are protected from light and pressure. Before opening, check the expiry date and the foil: if the foil is damaged or the date has passed, do not use that cover any more.
