Is this a pressure-wave device?

No, and the box says so: the head taps without moving air. Only once an attachment is in place does a low pressure build under it that feels like suction. Without an attachment it is an ordinary lay-on vibrator.

What tells the two attachments apart?

The ring rests on the outside and encloses a larger area, the star presses on one point in the middle. Which suits better depends on how sensitive the spot is.

How long does the battery last?
