Why such a small tip?

Because it lets you meter the sensation. A broad head spreads the energy, a tip concentrates it. For many that is too direct while the wand is held still; in motion, or with a layer of fabric in between, it becomes exactly the sensation they were after.

Is it meant for insertion as well?
