How does the hands-free mode work?

The device builds a sustained vacuum that holds the cup against the skin. As long as the rim sits tight it stays put, leaving both hands free. The suction keeps running, with nothing to adjust.

What if it does not hold?

Then the rim is not sealing. A drop of water-based lubricant and a little patience when placing it solve that in most cases. Hair at the rim is the second most common cause.
