How delicate is the lace?

More delicate than plain net, because the flowers stand individually and catch on rings, watches and rough seams. A tear does not run far, but it reads as a hole at once.

What does one size mean here?

Leg Avenue lists one size as EU 34 to 40. The knit stretches far; what decides is less the width than the torso length, which hardly gives.

How do you put it on without damaging it?

Rings off, nails checked, gather the fabric rather than pulling it. Fine mesh and lace almost always tear in the same place: where a fingernail catches on the way up.

What do you do when a stitch ladders?

A drop of clear nail varnish at the top and bottom end of the ladder stops it at once. On coarse net you hardly see the spot, because the pattern is open anyway; on fine lace it stays visible.
