How does it differ from the lime version?

Only in the yarn. Cut, mesh size and both pieces are identical; here the green edge is missing. Black therefore reads calmer and combines more easily with other pieces.

How opaque is the set?

Not at all. The mesh is large and both pieces are single-layered - everything underneath stays visible. Over a plain bikini or a body it becomes something wearable outside the house.

How do you put it on without damaging it?

Rings off, nails checked, gather the fabric rather than pulling it. Fine mesh and lace almost always tear in the same place: where a fingernail catches on the way up.

What do you do when a stitch ladders?

A drop of clear nail varnish at the top and bottom end of the ladder stops it at once. On coarse net you hardly see the spot, because the pattern is open anyway; on fine lace it stays visible.

Partly. Under a loose shirt or a blazer only a hint of the pattern remains; under a tight light-coloured top every edge shows. It is meant for the evening, not for a day at the office.

How is it washed?
