The Lingerie Set with a Halter Top and Wide Trousers by Chilirose consists of a short halter top with a deep V-neckline and long trousers. Below the bust the top finishes in a wide band that runs around the back; above it the back stays bare. From the waistband down the trousers fall wide and reach past the ankles; between top and trousers the midriff stays bare. Size M. From the Chilirose range. ❓ FAQ

Are the trousers see-through?

Yes, over their whole length. The fabric is sheer; whatever is worn underneath stays visible.

How does the top hold?

By a band at the nape that you tie. How closely the top sits is up to you when you knot it; the ends of the band are long and fall down the back.

Which size fits?

Go by your bust and hip measurements. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one: lingerie should sit close, not cut in.

How is the set washed?

By hand, below 30 degrees. With a delicate detergent and no fabric softener; then dry it flat. A tumble dryer ruins the elastic.

Can the fabric take oil or body lotion?

Better not directly. Oil and greasy lotions wear down the elastane and can leave stains; put the set on only once moisturised skin is dry.

What if a thread pulls?

Do not cut it off; draw it inside with a blunt needle. A cut thread keeps running, a pulled-through one holds.

How is it stored?

Lying flat, not on a hanger. Fabric and elastic give way under their own weight if a piece hangs for months.

How discreetly does it arrive?

In a plain box with no hint of the contents. The sender line says nothing that would tell the neighbours anything.

What goes with it?

Gloves in the same colour.
