Aika consists of two linked eggs, each with its own motor. One stays inside, the other rests outside, and both are controlled separately. You operate it either on the device itself or with the supplied remote, which is what makes use with a partner or outside the house practical in the first place.

The pulse wave in the outer egg comes from a membrane that sets air in motion. As this egg only rests in place and does not press, that drive is exactly the right one: it works without firm contact too. The inner egg, by contrast, vibrates classically, so inside and outside produce two different kinds of stimulus. Both are set in medical silicone, which rinses off easily and picks up no odours. How far does the remote reach?

One room is comfortably within range. Through several walls the signal weakens; that is not what it is for. The remote runs on its own battery and is included.

Does the inner egg stay safely in place?

The link between the two eggs stays outside and doubles as the retrieval handle. There is no cord that could break.

Can it be worn under clothing?

Yes, that is what the design is for. The outer egg adds some bulk, but under loose clothing it does not show. On a low setting it also stays quiet enough to go unnoticed.

How do I clean it?

With warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner, including where the two eggs meet. The remote is only wiped on the outside.
