The properties stay the same: water-resistant, usable in the shower and bath, without siloxanes, preservatives, parabens and propylene glycol. It gets on with latex condoms but not with toys made of silicone or TPE. How long does this bottle last?

Considerably longer than the same amount on a water base, as silicone does not dry out and needs no topping up. With normal use that means years, with daily use still months.

What should I watch when decanting?

The container must be dry. Water does not separate out of silicone again but stays inside it as droplets.

Why is it better in the shower?

Because water does not wash it away. A water-based lubricant dissolves there at once; this one stays until you remove it with soap. For the bath that is the decisive difference.

Are there limits with textiles?

Wash out marks promptly, or silicone soaks into the fibres. Putting a towel underneath keeps you on the safe side, especially with light bedding.
