Silicone instead of water changes everything. Premium Original does not dry out but stays slippery until you wash it off. The texture is soft and dense at once, cushioning movement and needing far less topping up than any water-based lubricant. The price for that: it does not get on with silicone toys, and washing it off takes soap.

It is water-resistant too: in the shower, bath or hot tub it stays where you applied it. The formula is made without siloxanes, preservatives, parabens and propylene glycol, and it is fully compatible with latex condoms. How much less do you need than with a water base?

Roughly half, often less. Silicone spreads better and does not disappear, so it is not used up, only washed off. One bottle therefore lasts longer.

Why not with silicone toys?

Because silicone dissolves silicone. The surface turns dull and tacky, and that cannot be undone. For such toys use a water base.

What about glass and stainless steel?

There are no problems there. Hard materials do not react, and with glass in particular silicone is pleasant thanks to its staying power. The same goes for hard plastic.

What does siloxane-free mean?

It is a statement about the composition: the formula manages without that group of silicone compounds, as well as without parabens and propylene glycol. Preservatives are absent too.
