Lubricant JoyDivision AQUAglide Vanilla Water Based 100 ml 🌼
Vanilla in fragrance and taste, the calmest of the flavours: it tastes not of fruit but sweet and warm, making it the variety for anyone who finds strawberry and cherry too sweet-shop. The tube shows the vanilla flower beside the variety name, below it „fragrance and taste“ - no reference to food quality; it remains a lubricant for tasting and not for drinking. As a lubricant it is the familiar recipe of the range: water-soluble and greaseless, pH-optimized, condom-compatible, dermatologically and clinically tested, made in Germany. A flavour plays its part during oral sex, where the taste of a neutral gel gets in the way. One hundred millilitres in the standard tube with a flip cap. It stands with flavoured lubricant, under water-based lubricant, in the drugstore section and with the condoms.

❓ FAQ
Is it edible?
The tube says „fragrance and taste“, not food quality. So it is meant to be tasted and is unproblematic during oral sex, but it is not a food - you should not drink it.
Is it sticky because it is sweet?
It remains a water gel and washes off with water. Flavoured gels feel a little stickier as they dry in than neutral ones; a few drops of water dissolve that.
Which variety is the mildest?
Vanilla. It is sweet rather than fruity and therefore the most unobtrusive of the flavoured versions. Strawberry, cherry, raspberry and Exotic are markedly more fruit-forward.
Does it get on with toys and condoms?
With both. That is the advantage of a water base: silicone oil attacks silicone toys, oil makes condoms unsafe - a water gel has neither problem.
Do you have to top it up?
On longer sessions yes, that comes with a water base. The gel dries in over time; a few drops of water bring it back, and topping up works as well.
Water, silicone or oil - what is the difference?
Water gets on with everything and dries in, silicone lasts a long time and attacks silicone toys, oil makes condoms unsafe. Which base suits when is explained in detail in the lubricant guide.
Does it stain?
It is water-soluble and greaseless, so it comes out of textiles again with water. Silicone and oil gels, by contrast, can leave residue behind.
