Thai Passion by Control is a moisturising massage gel for the body and for intimate moments: you massage with it and carry on afterwards without switching products. The gel is water-based, non-greasy and leaves no stains; residue washes off with lukewarm water. It is sugar-free and scented. Warm the gel briefly in your hands before the massage, because cold gel on the back makes you flinch rather than relax. A towel underneath protects the bedding. Keep it away from the eyes and from broken skin, and stop if redness or burning occurs. Once opened, use it up within six months. The pink bottle with a hibiscus motif stands on its transparent cap, and the gel is made in Italy. What is in it?

The base is water and glycerin, and hydroxyethylcellulose turns it into a gel. It is sweetened with xylitol and saccharin, with flavouring, lactic acid and the preservatives sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate added. Limonene is part of the scent; if you react sensitively to this fragrance substance, choose an unscented gel instead.

Does it get on with toys?

Water-based gels do, including with silicone. The right selection is under water-based lubricant.

How much do you use?

A good spoonful for the back, considerably less for everything else. Adding more is always possible, taking it away is not.

Does it work with condoms?

Yes, it can be used with condoms. Oil- and fat-based products, by contrast, degrade latex and the surface of soft toys; that combination does not work.

How do you massage with it?

With flat hands in long, calm strokes, on the back from the bottom up to the shoulders and down again along the sides. If the gel turns tacky while you massage, a few drops of water on your hands make it slippery again.
