The Afrodita Silk Skin Body Lotion from Secret Play is a body lotion for women with added pheromones that you use for massage or simply as a lotion. An effect of pheromones on humans has not been proven. It smells of caramel. Its base is formed by the silicones cyclopentasiloxane and dimethiconol, joined by sunflower oil, truffle extract and vitamin E acetate. Spread thinly, it feels silky on the skin, hence the name Silk Skin. It is filled into a silver airless dispenser: under the shiny cap sits the pump head, and around the middle runs a pink watercolour band with AFRODITA in black capitals on a white field, below it For Women, Natural Pheromones and Silk Skin Body Lotion. It stands under massage products, with drugstore, under sexual preparations and with the sex toys.

How do you use it for a massage?

Put one or two pumps into your palm, warm the lotion briefly between your hands and spread it thinly over back, shoulders, arms or legs. A thin film is enough for the hands to glide; if the skin turns dull, add a small portion.

Does it go with condoms and toys?

No. Sunflower oil can attack latex, so you do not combine the lotion with latex condoms; if things continue with a condom after the massage, wash it off hands and skin first. Because of its silicones it does not go on silicone toys either. It is not meant as a lubricant; you will find gels for that under water-based lubricant.

What about sensitive skin?

The lotion is for external use only. Test it first on a small spot such as the crook of your arm; if the skin burns or reddens, wash it off and do not use it again. It does not go on mucous membranes, broken skin or into the eyes, and you must not swallow it. The fragrance includes benzyl salicylate, coumarin, alpha-isomethyl ionone and benzyl cinnamate; if you react to any of them, leave it out.

What do you watch out for around the massage?

Skin with lotion on it is smooth, and drops make tiles, parquet or the shower floor slippery. Put a towel underneath, wipe up spills straight away and get up carefully after the massage.

Cool, dry and out of direct sun, with the cap on and out of the reach of children.
