The Oriental Sweet Massage Oil from Hot is a fragranced body oil whose sleeve reads “sweet oriental” in pink. The perfume includes coumarin, hexyl cinnamal, cinnamyl alcohol, cinnamal, benzyl salicylate, farnesol, citronellol and citral, among others. It is carried by isopropyl myristate and caprylic/capric triglyceride, two light fatty acid esters, as well as soybean oil and a further plant oil; beta-carotene, vitamin E and two UV filters complete the formula. The oil stays on the skin for a long time, which makes it suitable for extended massages of back, neck and legs. The bottle with a black screw cap holds 100 millilitres and is made in Germany. How do I dose it?

Start sparingly: a few drops in the palm, warm them briefly between your hands and spread with flat hands. Only add more once the skin no longer glides. A towel underneath saves bedding and upholstery from stains.

Does it work as a lubricant?

No. It is not made for the intimate area, and oil attacks latex, so a condom can tear. For sex, take a gel from water-based lubricant; a water-based 2in1 gel for massage and sex is under lubricant.

Can I use toys with it?

Toys made of glass and metal yes, latex no. Silicone can keep an oily film; rinse the toy with warm water afterwards and clean it with a product from sex toy cleaner.

What should I watch for on the skin?

It contains soybean oil and a perfume with many fragrance substances, including cinnamal and coumarin. With a soy allergy or if you react to fragrances, leave it out. On sensitive skin test it first on a small spot and wait a day. Leave out broken skin and the eyes; if the skin reddens, wash it off with mild soap.
