The newer label generation of the range calls itself warming massage: vanilla liquid, one hundred and fifty millilitres, made in Germany. The bottle carries three statements that set it apart from the older varieties - food quality, dermatologically tested and clinically tested. The warmth comes from rubbing, as across the whole range; nothing gets hot, and if it becomes too much you wipe it off with a damp cloth. Vanilla is the most restrained variety, sweet in scent but without the fruity finish of the berry versions. Spread a small amount with warm hands; the liquid is not declared as a lubricant for condoms or toys. How does the heating effect work?

Through rubbing and through breath. The liquid warms as soon as it is spread - the more movement, the clearer it gets. Nothing becomes hot; if it is too much, wipe it off with a damp cloth.

What does food quality mean?

The ingredients are chosen so that contact with the mouth is harmless. That does not make the liquid a food - it is not for drinking, and the bottle belongs out of the reach of children.

Where may it go on the skin?

On the body and externally on the intimate area. It is not used internally, and it does not belong in the eyes either. Before the first large-area use, put one drop in the crook of your arm and wait.

Does it work with condoms?

The pack says nothing about that. Anyone playing with a condom should use a water-based gel for gliding to be safe - suitable ones stand under water-based lubricant.

And on toys?
