How much oil do I need?

Less than you think. For a back, a small pool in the palm is enough to start. Warm the oil between your hands before it goes on the skin, so it does not feel cold. If the skin gets dry, add more; too much at once only makes the hands slip.

What is the oil not suitable for?

As a lubricant and together with latex. Oil makes latex condoms and diaphragms permeable and prone to tearing. Mucous membranes and the intimate area are therefore off limits. For sex with a condom there is water-based lubricant.

How do I protect the bed and sofa?

With a large towel. Massage oil leaves grease stains on fabric that are hard to get out once dry. Lay a bath towel or an old sheet down before the massage. Fresh stains are best pre-treated straight away with washing-up liquid.

Do I need to test the oil first?

With sensitive skin, yes. Not everyone tolerates fragrances. A small amount on the inside of the elbow shows after a day whether the skin reacts. Redness or itching means: wash it off with soap and do not use it any further. Keep it away from your eyes.

Can the bottle go in hand luggage?
