How much oil do you need?

Less than you think. For back and shoulders a coin-sized amount is enough to start with; warm it between your hands and then spread it. If the skin gets dry, add a few drops; too much oil makes your hands slip.

Can you combine the oil with condoms?

Not with latex condoms. Oil weakens latex, and the condom can become porous and tear. For sex with a condom you take a lubricant from water-based lubricant.

Does the oil work as a lubricant?

No. It is a massage oil for the skin and does not go into the vagina or anus. There are dedicated lubricants for intimate contact.

How do you test whether your skin tolerates it?

On a small patch of skin. Put a few drops on the crook of your arm and wait a while. If redness or itching appears, wash the oil off and do without it. Also keep it away from your eyes.

What helps against oil stains?

A towel underneath. Oil soaks into bed linen, upholstery and clothing; an old towel under your body catches it. Soak fresh stains with a little washing-up liquid before washing.

How do you keep the bottle?

Cool, dark and closed. Light and heat make oil age faster, so the cap goes straight back on after the massage. Children should not be able to reach the bottle.
