Shunga comes from Canada and is above all a brand for liquids: 57 massage oils, 25 care products, 13 lubricants and six stimulation creams. On top of that come 23 vibrators, which here are called “intimate massagers”. At this volume we name a few examples per group instead of all 128.

Massage candles and oils with a warming effect 🔥

The Mini Caress candles burn at a low temperature and melt into massage oil – they come with vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and cava, green tea, exotic fruits and roses, plus the Island Blossoms candle. Organic oils, bath salts and shower gels 🌿

Without aroma or fragrance comes the natural organic massage oil; with fragrance there are mango, green tea and almond. 23 intimate massagers 💜

Shunga calls its vibrators intimate massagers and names them after Japanese words. The Zoa series comes in black and fuchsia, the Sanya series in black, fuchsia and violet, the Aiko series in black and fuchsia. Curved for the G-spot are the Miyo models in black, fuchsia and violet, plus the Soyo series in black and fuchsia; as the only model with a measurement, the Soyo in pink at 11 x 3.7 cm stands in the data – see vibrators and G-spot vibrators.

Lubricants, creams and sets 💧

The Toko series comes in 165 ml and almost throughout with an aroma: Aqua without flavour, Organica, raspberry, coconut water, strawberry with champagne, melon with mango and exotic fruits; silicone-based there is the Toko in silicone. As stimulation creams the range holds Secret Garden for the clitoris, Rain of Love for the G-spot, Dragon for him and Hold Me Tight. How does a massage candle work?

It is made from waxes with a low melting point and gets considerably less hot than an ordinary candle. Let it burn for a few minutes until a pool has formed, put it out, test the oil on the inside of your wrist and then pour it onto the skin. Never pour across an open flame and never onto irritated skin. More in the article massage oils and massage candles.

What does the warming effect do?

The formulation warms up as soon as you blow on it or rub it in – that is a chemical effect, not a temperature out of the bottle. On sensitive skin it can tingle or burn; test a small amount beforehand and apply sparingly. Wash off with lukewarm water, not with oil.

Do oils and candles go with condoms?

No. Massage oils and melted candle wax contain oil, and oil destroys latex condoms. Both stay on the outside; for anything involving a condom or a toy, a water-based gel belongs. The Toko series is made for exactly that. See condoms.

What should you watch with the stimulation creams?

They act on very sensitive skin, and the reaction differs from person to person. Apply a small amount at first and wait before taking more. If it burns, lukewarm water helps. The creams are no substitute for a medical assessment – with lasting complaints or absent desire, that belongs with a doctor.

Which measurements and materials are on file?

On 104 of the 128 articles the material detail is missing, on 124 of 128 every measurement. For oils, salts and gels that is beside the point – there the fill volume counts, and it is in the title. For the 23 intimate massagers, by contrast, it is a real gap: only one single model has a measurement in the data.

How is it cleaned?

The intimate massagers with warm water and a mild cleaner or the in-house toy cleaner, then dry completely. Oil and wax come off skin best with soap, off textiles considerably less well – a mat is not a bad idea with massage oils. See sex toy cleaner.
