The Couture massage wand by CalExotics is a three-piece set in blue silicone: a slim massage wand and two attachments that slip over its head. The wand itself has a spherical head on a flexible neck and a handle that tapers conically towards the bottom. It is operated with a single button below the neck; the vibration is deep and rumbling and comes in ten speeds. The first attachment has two narrow, upright prongs between which the clitoris or a nipple, for example, can nestle. The second has three arms: a longer one with a thickened end and two short, rounded ones beside it. That way you switch from broad to targeted stimulation without changing devices. How are the attachments fitted?

They have an opening at the bottom and are simply pulled over the round head until they sit firmly. They come off the same way, with a gentle pull. A drop of water on the inside makes fitting easier.

Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one, for the wand as well as for both attachments. Silicone-based lubricant can attack the silicone surface and leave it dull. The selection is under water-based lubricant.

Can it go under water?

Yes. To IPX7 it can handle brief submersion, so the shower and the bath are fine too. The battery is charged via USB, and only once the device is completely dry again.

Can it be used anally or for insertion?

No. The set is meant to rest on the body, and neither the wand nor the attachments have the flared base that anal play requires.

How is the set cleaned?

Take the attachments off and wash them individually with lukewarm water and a sex toy cleaner, inside too. Wash the wand the same way, then let all parts air-dry and store them apart from other silicone toys.
