Which lubricant suits Bernace?

Only a water-based one. Silicone lubricant, oils and greasy creams attack TPE; the surface turns tacky and cannot be saved. A selection is under water-based lubricant.

How do you clean Bernace?

After every use, both channels, the anal one just as thoroughly as the vaginal one. Rinse them with lukewarm water and a sex toy cleaner, then hold the openings facing down until nothing more runs out. The remote, cable and bullet do not go under water.

Why does it have to dry completely?

TPE is porous. If moisture stays in the channels, germs and odours settle there. Dab the openings with a lint-free cloth and let it air-dry until nothing inside is damp any more. For the same reason, only ever one person uses it.

What applies to the batteries?

The remote needs two AA batteries, which are lined up with plus and minus in the compartment when inserted. If Bernace is not used for a longer time, take them out so they do not leak in the compartment.

How do you store it?

Dry, lying down and with nothing heavy on top, because soft TPE keeps pressure marks. Dark fabrics and other toys can stain it; a light cotton cloth in between prevents that.
