Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one, and plenty of it straight into the channel; if it gets sticky, add a little more. Silicone oil and fat-based gels attack the insert and make it tacky over time. The selection is under water-based lubricant.

How is it cleaned?

Take the insert out of the sleeve and rinse it from the inside with lukewarm water and a sex toy cleaner, then let everything dry properly; put away damp, soft material starts to smell. A touch of renewing powder keeps the surface grippy.
