Why the holes in the sides?

So air can escape. Without them a vacuum builds on entry and slows the movement; with them the path stays clear and the pressure comes from the hand alone. Anyone wanting suction simply covers the holes.

How is it cleaned?

Rinse the sleeve with lukewarm water and toy cleaner and then let it dry completely, overnight if need be. TPE is porous, and a masturbator put away damp will grow mould. Finally dust it thinly with cornstarch powder, and the surface stays silky rather than tacky.

Which lubricant suits it?

water-based lubricant only. Silicone- and oil-based products attack TPE and make the surface tacky sooner or later. Use plenty and top up rather than skimp.
