How do you tell the versions apart?

By the colour and the cup. Cheney is orange and Cecil white, both with a turquoise ball and spiral; Caspar is turquoise with orange details. Every cup comes in two parts, is printed in dark colours and carries the name of the version next to “Victoria”.

What does the ball do?
