Mushroom Mini from the Mochi range by Doc Johnson is a mini stroker in the shape of a mushroom, made of Ultraskyn, a soft, phthalate-free TPE, in purple. The shape is modelled on a king oyster mushroom. The opening sits at the bottom of the thick stalk; its rim is folded all round and narrows to a star-shaped passage, and behind it lies a tight channel with its own pattern. The cap and fine vertical grooves on the stalk give your hand grip, and a small smiling face with star-shaped eyes is embossed on the front. At this length it mainly encloses the glans and the front part, and you set the pressure with your hand alone. It does not stand out in a bag. Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one. Silicone oil attacks soft plastics such as TPE and makes the surface tacky over time. The selection is under water-based lubricant.

How is it cleaned?

Rinse it out from the inside with lukewarm water and a sex toy cleaner and then let it get properly dry, because soft material put away damp starts to smell. A touch of renewing powder keeps the surface grippy.

Can it be warmed up?

Yes, a few minutes in warm water, not in the microwave and not on the radiator. TPE takes on warmth and gives it back for a while.

How do you use it?

Put lubricant into the opening and a little on the glans. Rest the cap in your palm and move it with short strokes. If it starts to drag, add more lubricant rather than carrying on.

How do you store it?

In a pouch or a tin, somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight. Do not let it touch other toys or dyed fabrics, because soft TPE picks up colour and can react with other plastics.
